Whether you’re a student, educator, or parent/caregiver, find a few others who will champion this with you. It’s more likely to make it happen, and will be more fun too!

Talk to school or organization leaders.
Whose okay do you need to get? We’re happy to come in and help with this conversation at whatever point makes sense.

Take a look at your calendar.
It’s helpful if you have an idea of a few dates when initial presentations with faculty, students, or your community group could happen. Let us know when you’re ready to go!

Now that you’ve checked off the first three steps, give us a shout…you’re ready to roll! Of course, we are always here to talk at any point in the process.

Figure out a preliminary plan, resources, and budget;
and ask if you need external funding to make it happen. Different schools, districts, and community groups have different needs, from applying for a year-one Shine grant to having the school cover it with activity funds, or having local businesses or funders cover the expense.
